The route starts to the left of the sports centre and runs clockwise around the edge of the field. Keep the hedgerow close to your left hand-side. Soon you will be taking a gradual turn right and running alongside the River Wharfe.

Run until you hit the wooden fence and take a sharp right until you meet an opening in the fence a short distance in. Go through the gap and turn left back onto the edge of the river. Follow the river curving around the top end of the sports field.

As you run back towards the sports centre you will take a right into the centre of the playing fields. Stay between the three football pitches and the rugby pitch. You will take a left at the edge of the most central and largest football pitch. Run down until you are in line with the car park and take a left bending around back towards the start.
