Route Description

This parkrun course is nice and simple. Starting by the memorial by the lower gates of the park, you take a clockwise direction towards the Rugby pitch. This first bit is a gentle uphill, and is a good warm up opportunity.

Once you have gone around the field, take a right onto the path and then a left back around to the start. This last stretch is down hill – a good one to get speed on the last lap.

As this loop is not quite a mile, 4 loops are needed to get it up to 5km.

Although this is a fairly smooth route, be careful of leaves during Autumn or mud after heavy rain on the grass field part of the route.

Bramley Park is a community park managed by Leeds City Council. Backing onto Bramley Fall Woods, it is set on a hillside and has a great view of Leeds and the surrounding countryside.

Interesting fact: there is a reservoir that sits under Bramley Park and it holds 16 million litres of water.
